South Trans Voice — صوت ترانس الجنوب
A voice from the south, for dignity and equality
A trans-led community organization working from central and southern Morocco to advance justice, equality, and freedom for trans people in all their diversity — trans men and women, non-binary and intersex people — and the broader LGBTQI+ community.

What we do
We work across six interconnected areas that together form a holistic approach to a dignified and safe life.
Empowerment and capacity building
Rights education and skills development that strengthen autonomy and decision-making: workshops, trainings, and individual and group accompaniment.
Health
We provide counseling, psychosocial support, and safe health guidance, with full protection of privacy and confidentiality — in a context where gender-affirming care is not available in Morocco.
Anti-violence
Awareness raising, documentation of violations, and strengthening protection and response mechanisms against violence and hate speech.
Legal advocacy
Pushing for legal gender recognition through fair and transparent procedures.
Latest activities
Workshops, roundtables, and campaigns — activities built and led by the community itself.
Launch of the “Ashkid Atsfelt” podcast
We launched the “Ashkid Atsfelt” (“come and listen”) podcast: conversations voiced by the community itself on the issues facing trans and LGBTQI+ people in Morocco.
Taking part in the national gathering of trans people
We took part in the national gathering of trans people organized by associations working on trans rights in Morocco, and recorded interviews with community activists that were published on the “Ashkid Atsfelt” podcast.
Content studio
A podcast and audiovisual productions changing the narratives around trans people, grounded in rights and dignity.
